the slo-vo build thread...

well for shits and giggles i jumped on a set of copy kat's d44 TTB brackets, so it looks like ill be going FW d44 ttb this winter

Always going to be doing some mod some how some way :D

That will defiantly need some pictures on here. Also is the ranger your daily rig?

Then you can put them axles back in that Ex! Can't wait to see it. You gonna go with a 9" in the rear?

if i do it, ill do my own radius arms a few inches longer then the duff arms and either coiloves or airshocks with my own steering

ill stick with a FW f-150 8.8 and do a truss and a few other tricks

kinda just got to the point where i had to decide if this winter i wanted to go ahead and go SAS or play with the TTB for a little bit longer and well since i havent really accomplished much yet with the TTB because of how busy things have been that ill keep it another year and see what i can make it do

and you are correct dustin, the front end and duff lift will go back in the ex, the rear axle too minus the detroit

You should hit up Glissons for that F150 8.8 while its not freezing. Hit me up, I'll come help.

yea will probably go there to pick up both axles

Different. I like it.

Nice! I have been thinking about doing the same, but have all my parts for the 35.

I mean stuff like 4.56's and an ARB.

yea the 35 has a tru-trac in it, but for the 44 ill probably go with a detroit since it works so great out back

You should find a cheap F150 or one thats wrecked, pull the axles then sell to me so I can pull the motor.

Right, it would probably be easier lol. I'll probably end up with a 4.0 though.
