agreed, when i was young and bought my first truck which was a ranger. this site had a lot to do with that. this site and the ranger platform is like finding a gold mine.

if you look around the other forums there is not nearly as much information being handed out or writeups being done. for instance i bought a 88 toyota pickup once, the thing was a pile, but everyone is all "go toyota..." anywho i browsed the forums for ages looking for info trying to fix that thing, all i found was people throwing crap out there confusing me even more, because they didnt actually know how the system worked, and guys saying "v8 swap"

10 minutes on this forum and you could find just about anything.

im sure i wouldnt know half of what i know today if i hadnt found this forum, having write ups as a guide going into voodoo area's is a total confidence booster. i mean my buddy graduated diesel tech and still doesnt know half of what i do. i guess experience pays..

Hey thanks!

Is that a Fiero in your avatar??

those are comfortable cars, probably my favorite highway cruiser.

For anyone under 6'3"...:icon_rofl:

I tried to test drive one when they first came out. I could not even get inside. Also tried a TR7, Jeep YJ, and several others that all fell short of tall people requirements.

I bought my Tempo in 1989 right off the lot when I opened the door, slid the seat back, and was able to slip in like a...normal person.

I did like the Fiero when they came out though...wasn't there a similar model released under another badge?
