Alright guys, I have one that has me stumped, mostly because I don't have the truck or the wiring diagrams in front of me.

We have ourselves a 1991 Ranger, 2.9L manual everything.

Symptoms are intermittent no charging, no blower, no turn signals.

Ignition switch?????? Pure guess, my f 150 did something similar

ignition switch would be my guess as well. cant think of anything else those 3 circuits really share. they arent too expensive, iirc <$20

I bet Adsm has a switch sitting on his bench......

I actually don't know if I have one for that truck. I might.

The truck actually belongs to another member, DWLahr, but he doesn't have internet access anymore.

The switch was also my first instinct.

yep, another vote for the iggy switch

I have access to since diagrams lemme know and I'll do me best

My 85 GT had the same symptoms as that ranger. I took the plastic cover off the cloumn and the switch fell apart as the column plastic was holding it together.

Mine did similar things. If you take the plastic cover off of the steering column and get to the bottom of the switch, there are IIRC 4 little tabs that hold the bottom of the switch - where all the contacts are - on. It was falling apart. I took a little hammer and tapped the tabs up to hold the switch together and it fixed all my problems.
