Old concept from like 2002ish. It had a powershift transmission, 4 cyl diesel, was front wheel drive when in 2wd mode, and we will never see one.

Yeah that was a concept car in like 2000 or so when they stopped the Bronco and replaced it with vehicles like the expedition and excursion. If they made a new Bronco it would be cool but it probably won't look like that.

I remember looking at this concept when I was in Jr. High! Haha.
Always thought it looked to polished to take off road, too fancy. Although I like the dimensions and overall style. I think we've seen the last of the 2 door SUV's with the demise of the Explorer Sport unfortunately.

High hopes? Love to see one? Look closer at it. If you really like it that much, go buy an Escape and lift it, you'll end up with the same thing. Or maybe you missed the independent suspension and fwd.

i'd love to see it.. diesel. rwd w/ selectable 4wd. and SOLID AXLES! -could i dream any bigger there? you know it's gonna have IRS and IFS-

i love the look of it tho. the grille, the integrated winch. but it is an old concept..

If it ends up looking even remotely like this concept we all know it will probably be a diesel escape with a different plastic body with very little actual steel. I am sure it will also have leather seats and a a fancy stereo and too much electronics to ever take seriously.
