the Lawn Mower thread.

Lawnmowers are fun to use on fire ant mounds also.

I plan to use mine for nephariuskdkrfdjed

Worked for the county parks one summer in college. We had the same one with mower, stump grinder, etc.

Thing is absolutely amazing on a bad day. There's very little those little buggers cannot do. Colossal time savers.

The agronomy supervisor called me yesterday. Told me he mowed everywhere the tractor would sink up to the hood and barely left a tire track. He was running the tough cut mower on it. We bought with the kubota gas engine.

Ours had the diesel... Can't remember which, but it was pre emissions era. Thing was a tank. Like literally, it was a tank.

Same thing for the park I was at. River cut through it as well as a major tributary, so there was swamp everywhere. I was their only farm kid, so I spent the summer on a Kubota with a brush hog. Same story there, damn ventrac would handle areas I'd have the 4x4 Kubota sunk to the axles.

Didn't care about hills, grades, cliffs if the duals were on it.

Got to mess around with its big brother once, an Aebi. Always thought they were ideal for ag in places like PA. We farm on cliffs here lol

Gas in the oil - piston engined aircraft in WW2 used to mix fuel in the oil to thin it out at startup. Once up to temp the fuel would simply cook out of the oil.

Agree 1000 percent

I once for a senior project took a Toro garden tractor frame and put a 400cc Yamaha twin on it. Cut the transaxle up and put welded the gears up and made it chain driven. I should have used heavier chain.... I almost lost my nuts... also brakes would have been cool....

So here's a small engine question... Anything I can mix into my fuel for a little more oomph?

I cut my grass today! Both of them!

I weed wacked, mowed yard and trimmed. Gotta keep up the neighborhood.
Besides, get's me outside for something to do.
