Wasn't expecting this to happen this weekend...

Picked up another garand. Made in 1945, has all SA parts, with a 53 SA rebarrel. Only thing not original is the stock...which is soon to change. This baby has seen hard combat in WW2 and Korea.

The nicer looking garand is my national match...

DG it went in to service in 69 but im not sure if you would have seen them until 70 or so

Don't remember the m203....maybe it's the amnesia....maybe I never saw one...I do remember something that looked like a sawed-off shoulder-fired shotgun that fired a round about 1.5 inches in diameter & about 3 inches long...annnnd the round looked like a giant .45 pistol round that exploded on impact similar to a grenade.

ahhhh.....amnesia.....ain't it great....(at least, from what I don't remember)

.

Amnesia or not----I remembers the last pic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't even try slinging a grenade...that thang would fire a round over the river & thru the woods to grandma's son--the V.C's house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DG would this be something for you? think there had been a talk earlyer in this thread about you and a lever action. this ones a nice little .22 and its not badly priced at 340 MSRP and made in the USA

Ok I need some advice from everybody here. I finally talked my GF into letting me buy a pistol to keep here at the house. She's not into guns at all due to her son living with us has autism and she doesn't want him anywhere near it which I really don't blame her. I wouldn't want my own kiddies near a gun. But after what happened last night she agreed into letting me buy a pistol for safety. You can read the story in the thread here: http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72345
The only stipulation is that she wants it to be small enough that she can handle it safely. So which company makes the best pistols small enough for her to use but doesn't look like a toy in my hands?

Plenty of 38 specials, 357mags, 380's and 9mm's out there that fit the bill. Personally, if I could only have one weapon for personal defense/all around shooting, I'd probbly buy a 357mag. You can shoot mellow 38 Special in them all day along and the Mag loads for business. There are some really nice ones out there from sub compact snubbies to 8" barreled hand cannons. I like the Taurus titanium trackers. Functional, light, small enough for her and relatively inexpensive.

The 41 is a 5 shot, the 357 a seven. It is feather light and easily controlable with the ported barrel. Very nice shooter. I have the 41mag version of this pistol ane even it is pretty mellow except with full-on heavy loads.

The Ruger LCP is a really nice sub compact 380 auto if that is more your speed but a little light on firepower in my opinion.

But you and I both know THIS is what you want for the 300lb Mexican mental patient!

How did you find that? My understanding was that firearms were banned for sale on craigslist. How much did you pay for it anyway?
