I've never shot one but handled quite a few. They throw to the shoulder pretty nice, aren't too heavy and the action is quick and smooth. I'd buy one if the need/price/time were right.

They sell a 7mm-08 all black with scope for 450. its a steal when the last one i looked at was for 800.

I have two rifles in 308 and it is one of my all time favorite rounds. I have a pistol in 7mm-08! Really fun to shoot!

i just go to get something that is better in distance and accuracy than my 30-30. I am tired of taking field shots and not get anything.

I am a game hunter. Not much into target or just collecting.

I'm the opposite but I sure do appriciate people shooting them deer just to cut down on the ones on the road. It's that season again where they cross the road without looking both ways.

A British sniper set a world sharpshooting record by taking out two Taliban soldiers in Afghanistan from more than a mile and a half away -- a distance so great, experts say the terrorists wouldn't have even heard the shots.
Craig Harrison killed the two insurgents from an astounding distance of 8,120 feet -- or 1.54 miles -- in Helmand Province last November firing an Accuracy International L11583 long-range rifle.
