Yes you guys are truly right on the money, fitting the rat truck theme of my project perfectly...money is no object. I light my Cuban cigars with hundred dollar bills and wipe my ass with fifties because they just don't burn well enough to light a good cigar. All nice ideas guys but this truck is on a serious budget diet. some of the stuff you guys suggested is high dollar stuff. If anyone has some of these grills they want to give away, I'll see what I can do about getting them on the truck!! I was thinking of something to fabricate with inspiration from some of these ideas though. Keep 'em coming, inspiration will come.

Very productive weekend. Bed..on, doors...on, fenders...on, seats...in. Working on the interior and thinking about the front end. Pics to come in the next few days. Starting to look like a truck again boys!

Update

Got some paint on the truck and it's starting to look like a truck again.

Jams are in paint too.

Started working on the round headlights. I used '73 buckets and housings.

Bumper is on too.

Interior is coming together.

Working on "glassing" the dash.

There you go...up to date.

Looks like the same paint. I love that shifter i've always loved that look in a "ratrod". I just can't imagine driving it LOL. In forth the shifter is gonna be next to your head.
