Its ****ed... She traced the TOP of the flair & cut it out.. WAY too much. Now there's nothing to bolt the flair too. The amount cut is bigger than the flair itself..

that's why you dont let women work unsupervised. however, i think you should use this situation to your advantage. maybe get a few sexual favors out of it or tell her she isnt allowed to nag for a month or two.

What an absolutely stupid woman, you should punch her in the mouth for even trying to be helpful. Give her a frying pan and tell her to get the F**k out of the garage. How stupid can you be for making a simple mistake. Dont give her any money for a month to make up the cost of fixing her horrific screwup and make sure she feels miserable about it. Stupid B*****!


Seriously is it that big of a deal? Id give my left nut for my wife to come back home and want to work on my truck to boot. You shoul dbe thankful for a woman like that. Heres what you do. Go inside give her a big kiss and hug and tell her thanks for her help and show her how you fixed it. Clean up the cuts then put 1/2 inch slices all around the circumfrence, then roll the tabs under so you have clean fender edges. Like said before return the flares and put the money elsewhere, dont even use it on the truck, take her out somewhere. make sure she feels appreicated for putting your interests above her own. And make sure the kids see you doing it. Many guys do their cutouts like I explained and it looks great.

so cut the rest of the fender off and get some fiberglass. More room for tires anyway.

My girl does all the cutting work on my truck. Her hands are steadier than mine, and I can't stand to damage my own sheet metal, even for a mod.

She loves working on my truck almost as much as I do. That was a big factor in me leaving my much more attractive (but also much crazier) ex and getting back together with her.
