My 94 2.3 had a blown motor so I picked a 95. The 95 has a sensor at the top of the auxilliary shaft and my 94 does not.
1. Does this matter?
2. Can I just take the plug that sits down into the auxillary shaft on the 94 motor and move it over to the 95 motor?
3. Will this cause any harm or problems?

I just re-read your post and I didn't realize which sensor you were talking about. You are referring to the one that goes where a distributor would fit if it had one, right? Unfortunately, the '95 2.3 does not have an auxiliary shaft. The oil pump takes its place and has no way to drive the sensor.
