The BIG day is at hand. VOTE!!!!

Looking at the map I am liking the electoral numbers so far, but not the popular vote numbers.

Fox has Obama up 79 to 71 in electoral, and Romney up 4,121,373 to 3,809,968 in the popular.

Made my rounds this morning, got up, voted, then picked up a couple cases of 7.62x39... just in case

well i was lookin at our local news station, but they're lagging behind. 88 to 78 in favor of mitt right now. romney is ahead in NC as of right now, but not even half of the votes are in

It's shaping up that Pencil vein ya is going to be a key state from my numbers.

This is better than an Alien movie. In the movie you know the good guys will win. Here the suspense is real, and I thought I couldn't sleep last night.

As of this moment Fox new PROJECTS 149 to 127 Romney.

PA show 55% OB to 46% RR with 1% reporting. I will be seriously pissed if Bob Casey actually wins like Fox is saying. His father was great, Jr is an asshat.

I am in no way surprised by what happened in PA. I am however frustrated by it. If you look at the county by county map large portions of PA have gone to Romney by large margins. It is the four large population centers in Pitts, Philly, Erie and Allentown where everyone lives off government assistance because they won't bother to go get a job tip the entire state to the Dems, who write those welfare checks.

And unfortunately, there are so damn many people like this in the US right now... they just might tip the scale.

I just heard on the radio that Florida's counts are in - and it's a 572 vote difference, in favor of Romney.

that's the problem everywhere. as a whole, the highly populated areas in cities like that are gonna go blue... while the rest is red.

Yep. Republicans always win the most area - or at least all of the elections that I've paid attention to.

This holds true locally as well. The state of Utah is almost all Republican all the time - with the exception of the most densely populated city, Salt Lake City. They always elect a Democratic mayor (like Rocky C. Anderson). I live in Salt Lake County, and do not vote on the mayor of the city - just the county mayor.

It is pretty much a feel good waste of time to vote out here... nobody cares about our little 6 votes because they are basically worthless anyway. And even then Iowa has enough big city to jerk the state wherever they want to go without all us country bumpkins.

Don't feel too bad. For all the more that my vote counted for I should have wrote in for Jim and DG, despite the fact that my state is five little blue spots in a sea of red.

We only have 6 as well.

I only like the electoral system when it plays in my favor..... :D

yeah, I don't understand this electoral college thing...

I think we'd be better off with Jim/DG.
