The Backfield Bog (56k fail)

Our offroad club hosted an event this past Saturday. We had a decent turnout, and definitely the best consistency of mud we've ever had out there. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking.

Nice pics, people can see all the pics if they can figure it out. Looks like a good time. No action pics of John though. Glad it went well. Irony that the flag was flying on the rig that ran the least? Any ideas on the number of people that turned out?

Brad - The jeep came right out with the tractor, as did the huge ford after he got stuck over by the big hole (dunno if he did that before or after you left).

I don't even want to guess as far as turnout. Maybe a couple hundred? I'm terrible at guestimating. I didn't stay for the bands so I don't know if more people showed up or not.

Yep, the big boy broke trying to pull me out. Those 5 ton rocks don't do much good if you can't get the torque through the driveshaft joints.

With a bad fuel pump relay, non-working fan, and binding front driveshaft, I played a bit before the truck started getting hot and hard to start. At least I showed up....

I was going to say probably 50-75 trucks and a couple of hundred people. Seemed like there was just enough people there to have a good time and not too many people to make it cramped.

Watching the video of Burnside in the deeper pit makes me wish I'd built a truck that I didn't care about as much..... Oh well, I'm sure I'll stop caring soon enough.

I was proud of the little piggy. She don't give up. I coulda gone all day but the mud skirt I had on got wrapped around my front dampner taking out the crank sensor and serpentine belt. Lesson learned- don't add unnecessary shit. Here's some video I got from clark.

This one is the same as above from Bray but different angle and completes the run. Hey, I tried going through the deep hole.

Here's Adam making it through the same hole with out much of a problem.
