Funny, but I had an idea for a sliding extension like that for rainy days...seems like every time I open my door in the rain I get drenched...should be some sort of flip out umbrella type covering at least...

hahaha Thats not quite what I would be after, I was more thinking something to sit under and drink my beer beside a fire, like a mini version of what you would see off the side of an RV basically. That way I dont have to sit under the hatch when we go to make a fire in the rain... (Sometimes there is just no other option, it ALWAYS freakin' rains here.)

Also, cool concept, but never would I buy one. One thing I don't like about alot of SUV concepts or concepts in general is they seem to pick a theme, and base the ENTIRE vehicle around it.

An SUV fully equipt for a woodland outing: cool.

But then you realise that it feels gimicky and that alot fo those nifty features are only useful for things like camping or drunken tailgating (which is what I'd use it for).

If I did a concept I'd go full tilt and put machine guns and rocket thrusters on it, horribley impractical but it'd look awesome.
