ThatGuy in that Explorer

thats one cool explorer nice action photos

Thanx. I appreciate it. It's a work in progress and more mods are coming. Just depends on my funky work schedule when things will get done.
I gotta say a big thanks goes to the guys at Duff for letting me use their shop and tools when they aren't covered up. I couldn't do it in my garage. Getting discounts is nice too.

What did you do with the lower coil buckets to move them in to match the upper coil buckets so the coils dont bow so badly?

same question here.

i started playing with the jeep coils today. had problems with the coil wanting to bow out, or forward etc. i got it to level out with some shimming here and there.

now i just need to get the steering figured out. but let not beat a dead horse here, i'll let ya know when thats running right.

i like your shock hooks as well. simple design and strong

I moved my lower coil retainers in 3/4" of an inch. You could go an inch but I didn't.

I can't believe I have not seen this thread before. That is a crazy ass build. I am loving it.

damn dude it just keeps coming alone.

can you do me a huge favor. is there a web sit where i can order the ttb steering set up you guys designed i need all new stuff on the front end and i would rather use that it will last longer and work so much better.

on the ttb application when running low ppi coils and stock ranger buckets i angle the lower seat till its not so floppy, similar can be done with the sas application.

simple as 2 in pipe flanges and cut pipe. steering can be a mix of stock fullsize and ranger parts or a fabbed setup similar to the stonecrusher or off the shelf superrunner stuff to lower the ttb jackoff issue so its drivable.. when real soft, air bags help stabilize the ride on the road.

one hell of a 2000 dollar investment:icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

Hey so with the TTB and EB coil deal, all you had to do to fix the crazy front unloading was stonecrusher steering?
