Hey everyone!
It's hard to believe that The Ranger Station is 15-years old.
So much has changed since I came up with the idea for TRS back in 1998. We were kicking for at least a year before I added a forum link to the site, but TRS has ALWAYS been more than just a forum.
The technology has changed, the internet has changed, and the truck mods continue to get sicker every year.
I've met, wheeled with, and hung out with some great people over the years that are now my friends.
TRS has also brought many enthusiasts together, and we're the only online community to move a banner from sea to shining sea.
TRS is always growing and on the move, but it wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the members who contribute to the site, and the staff that helps oversee it.
TRS also wouldn't have lasted this long if it wasn't for the Premium Members and their paid subscriptions, and the members who have shown their support buying TRS stickers (I've sent TRS stickers around the globe). At times throughout the years when I thought I wouldn't be able to afford to host the site any longer, those contributions kept us going.
What's New:
As I said, TRS is always growing. If you've been through the tech Library, you've seen a change in the look and format. The new format allows me to update the look of the site with a single page, without having to change each and every one. There is also a button at the bottom to encourage readers to submit new content. I should have all the updating done by spring.
If you haven't looked at the home page, you should. The home page will now contain 'Featured Rides', Ranger related news articles, TOTM, and more. It's a responsive design, so it will adjust to whatever device you're viewing it with. Watch for some upcoming things there that will help you when you're on the go.
Speaking of TOTM, we have decided to keep separate TOTM categories, and will be renaming 'Street Truck Of The Month' to 'Mini Truck Of The Month'
Other things we have going on include facebook and Pinterest, and we still need someone on staff to help with the Pinterest.
Thanks Again!
Thanks again for a great 15-years as THE Premier Ford Ranger Resource. I look forward to the future, the people I'll meet, and the trips yet to come.
Edit: Oh ya, look below:
That new spot allows us to remind you guys about things such as the Banner and TOTM so we can keep them active. Don't forget to get involved!!
