Just realized that I dont have a devoted build thread for my truck. I bought it back in 2011 as my first truck for $650. I dumped a lot of my high school earnings into it, but it never did see the road again. It just sat in the backyard at my moms where I lived until she passed way in 2013. The truck then sat there, without me living there until about 2 weeks ago when I pulled it out of its resting place.
It is now sitting behind my buddies house with the front body panels off as we are getting ready to pull the whole drivetrain out. (For sale by the way) http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163750
Also selling front sheet metal.

As we were pulling the front sheet metal off, we discovered a large amount of rust starting at the cowl and running the whole way down the cab into the floor boards. This is really strange for a Texas truck that didn't live by the coast. I have since decided to pull what I can out of the cab that is good and try to find a better cab for the truck while I clean the frame and prep it for a V8 and solid axle.
It ain't much to look at right now, and it won't be for a while since I dont make a whole lot of money to throw into it. Here are a few pics to look at for now. Should have the drivetrain pulled out in the next week or so.
