Can anybody tell me where my sending unit is for my temperature guage? 1993 Ranger, 2.3 standard 2wd.
My Haynes manual says it's on the driver's side rear of the engine. I found the oil pressure sending unit, is it near that? I have the new one, pretty sure it's that, the temp guage needle doesn't come up into the normal range.
Don't want to get on my back under the truck unless I have to- it's 12* here.
Thanks,
Dan

its near the oil pressure sender. some guys have found it necissary to remove the intake manifold to get to it...but i think a guy could weasel the sender in and out of there with the intake on if he really tried.
