New to me 1995 4x4 Ranger- neither gage works on the STX cluster. Any ideas? All the fuses look okay, but I don't have the manual to locate the correct fuse...

you have a electrical sender on the block for the oil pres gauge. Don't member what voltage they put out, but I feed voltage to it to find out if the gauge works if it does the sender is bad. The temp gauge is run by a sender by the t-stat housing, ground it with key on and it should go all the way hot, then when unplugged and not touching anything should be all the way cold, if it does its the sender.

Yeah, I was hoping to find a common connection between the two, like the regulators that used to provide power to all the gauges on a car. On my old mopars, that thing went and you lost all your gauges, including the fuel. Maybe coincidence that they are both dead. Thanks for the response, I hadn't located the oil pressure sending unit yet.
