Ok, Time warner is officially cancelled as my ISP. The speed was the only nice thing about the account - customer service was worthless, the people at the office were less than happy to help when I walked in to cancel service, and 6+ days of downtime at a time assured me their service is CRAP. Believe it or not, big bad at&t has had freaking -great- customer service so far - I called them monday morning to get a phone line and a dsl account, they connect the phone line wednesday, dsl will be up by 12:00 this afternoon (friday). But theres always a hitch - when they connected my phone line, the wiring was found to be bad in my appartment... lovely. I got home wed, no dialtone, called them thursday morning at 10, and they had someone out at my place by 11:30, problem fixed. Thats pretty damn quick. Get home thursday, hook up my DSL modem, signal syncs up just fine! Now I just have to wait to get my password/username when I get home from work today 
DSL may be a tiny bit slower, but so far the customer service is 100 times better than time warner ever was.
Sorry for the rant but dealing with multiple communications companies over the last 2 weeks has really been fustrating... finally getting one thats got good customer service is worth mentioning.
