Hi Guys

So my Son's 2000 Explorer with the 4.0 SOHC has loud timing chain guides so our new project is to pull then engine and the R2 cassettes.

I've pulled a few engines mostly old school IH's and late 70's trucks so I'm familiar with it, this is the newest vehicle that I've pulled an engine from so there's lots of extra stuff in the engine bay.

- Where should I look to get the alignment tools?

- Any other advice?

Thanks
Bill

Take lots of pictures from lots of angles, before starting and during disassemble......you will forget where a connector or vacuum line goes.
