hey guys i just tried to install my new 2.9 in my 90 ranger with the a4ld having a hell of a time lineing up the motor to tranny when i was turning the tc around it did not sound right it was clicking all the way around so i thought the tc came out a little when i pulled the motor so i lifted the motor out again to try to see what was going on i pushed and turned but it kept making the noise so i pulled off the tc now i cannot get the damm thing to seat again any help would be great befor i go and pull the tranny out .thanks

that noise means the t/c is fully seated in the trans and is hitting the pump bolts. when bolted to the flex plate it will pull it out so it wont hit anymore. just have paitence and a friend and you will get it
