Tapping @ Idle?

I have a Jasper 1990 4.0 engine with about 3000 miles on it. The engine makes a tapping sound at idle, but does not seem to get worse when the RPMs increase. Does these engines tap even when they have low miles, or is it something that I should worry about?

Thanks

My injectors are loud enough at idle that they can be heard clearly. They sound like a tapping valve. I isolated it by using the good old screwdriver in the ear trick and it was the injectors.

injectors, or the rocker arms being worn are the two most common "ticking" sounds from the 4.0l.
