Tailgate question

I need a new tailgate for my 92 stx ranger. I was possibly thinking of using one from a 93 and up. Will the tailgate from a newer ranger fit?

theirs a guy around my area that has a gen 1 ranger with a gen 3 tailgate.. so i think they do fit BUT the body lines dont match up at all ...

Theres a guy around my house that is the complete opposite, he has a gen 3 with a gen 1 or 2 tailgate. It looks kind of funny because, like Destroyer said, the lines don't match up, but I'm pretty sure ANY ranger tailgate is interchangeable. I don't think the inside of the bed has changed since they originally made it.

i have a 94 mazda b4000 with a 99 ranger tailgate and it lines up pretty good
