Tailgate options?

What tailgates will fit onto a 93? will any of them after that or just till 97?

Any tailgate from 93-08. But if you have a flairside you need a gate from another flairside, and if you have a regular bed you need a gate from another regular bed.

Not to threadjack, jus trying to avoid making a new thread... I have a '92 ranger and the tailgate is busted up pretty bad. I know someone with a mint condition '86 tailgate, does anyone know if that will fit right on?

My ranger just has a scratch and a few dents, no rust. But if i ever see one cheap thats the same color and says FORD on it, im gettin it

I dunno how it would look on a ranger though..

I've really been considering making one. More of a swing gate than a fold down. Also, maybe even make it to where I can mount a spare tire on it.
