So I switched my truck bed to a Mazda 1998 b3000 And now my taillights aren’t working the reverse lights and main tail lights work but the signal and brake lights do not work I was wondering maybe it’s because the Mazda has three lights vs the two or maybe an adapter I can buy any suggestions?

Welcome to TRS :)

Yes, they are used for trailer light hook ups but you can use them for your tail lights

You need a trailer 2 to 3 wire adapter

Your 2002 has 2 wires for the turn/brake, a left and right, the turn signal stalk(multi-function switch) is where the brake is combined with turn
1998 bed uses 3 wire, left/right turn and then brake

The adapters are weather proof, made to be mounted under the rear of a vehicle

More common is the 3 to 2 wire, you do not want that one, you want 2 to 3 wire

You can also swap tail lights to the 2 wire version
