T5 bellhousing

Looking for a bellhousing to mate a T5 to a 2.9. Thanks.

Does not exsist.

Allegedly the earlier T4 was mated to the 2.8 engine in some early Foxstangs
and the T-5 will bolt to that bellhousing.

But if you wanted to actually do this it would mean that you were willing to use
a cable clutch.... and if you are willing to do that it would imply that you were
crazy, stupid or both

The other thing about this is that you'd need to locate a 30year old bellhousing
(pack it carefully in crumpled $20bills for the trip home if you find one)

There is however a hydraulic clutch conversion that would allow something other than a cable clutch
(CABLE CLUTCHES SUCK!)

Well hate to differ with a tech advisor,but they are available over in England,but I'd like to see if anyone had a used one over here first.

That is the main transmission man here and if he says that it can't be had then it can't be had. If it was anywhere in the Great United States he would have it. If it can be had in England then it sounds like that is where you need to go and aquire it.
