T5 and an attempt to stay hydraulic.

dig into allstar or wilwood products

I'm hoping my sn95 donor car that's equipped with a t5 already is all I need to use for my swap.just not sure how to use the oem master cylinder to hook up to it.do I need to convert it to braided hose and AN fittings like u guys r doing?
Look at the beginning of this thread.

Was looking at some of those, I just dont want too many headaches for modification and I like have extra parts lying around like $15 slave cylinders and $12 starter solenoids.

The thought there was by digging into those products, 3/4 would be self explanatory.

I realize it after my reply.also how do u disconnect the clutch line off the master cylinder on an 87 ranger.having hard time trying to get it off.?

You have the tool?

When it comes to doing that in the rust belt....not sure if I want to attempt it or hang myself.

Often times, you pop the pin at the master...cut and splice line.... or replace it all.

Now they have...or had replacement plastic locking retainers .

Power washing it out if it is a virgin with my Binks gun and wd40 works every time. But time consuming.

Out west they just work with the tool.....

Don't have the tool.what does that look like?

So why a external slave instead of an internal besides being easier to replace if needed?is it needed for this swap?or more of an easier replacement if needed?

Convenient repair, less expensive. Potentially cheaper than t5 internal slaves.

Kinda figured that.would those same adapters and hydraulic line work on the oem slave cylinder?or would different ones would be need?also did u have the beat on the the fire wall or trans tunnel to get the t5 to fit correctly?besides bending back the floor seam?

Look at the parts list in the original post. Bending that seam back is something you do regardless of trans that way you can route fuel lines to shortest possible route which speeds up fuel delivery. No I made access panels to get to the bell bolts for the m5odr2 before but with the t5 it isn't necessary

Did u end up using the oem trans crossmember or did u buy something else?I saw parts list u used for yours.

I thought I read somewhere that people had to beat on the tunnel for trans to fit correctly?maybe it was just auto trans maybe

This is the type of setup you can use if going t5 using the stock ranger master cylinder
