t-case shift noise

I swapped the electric shift motor with another that i have cleaned up it shifts into both 4hi and 4low but somtimes going into 4 low i hear a grind or clunking noise is it possible the worm gear in the electric shift motor got off a bit when i cleaned it to cause this?

A clunk or short grinding noise going into 4 low is perfectly normal. As long as it's engaging, I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
