i have a lifted 90, 2wd, 2.3 ,manual. was wondering if i could put a tcase on my trans, or would i have to get the whole trans and transfer case from a 2.3 4wd. would like to do a sas some day, but even until then couldnt hurt having "2 low" also i would like to find a manual tcase and not the push button, what years could i find it in? just wanted to gather some ifo cause im always junkyard shopping

You would need a 4WD transmission from a 2.3L truck.

I suppose that you could always drop in a divorced t-case as well, although this would be gross overkill on a mini truck (as I have only seen divorced t-cases on full sized rigs).

hick

not to mention it takes gobs of extra fabrication, versus just bolting in a 4wd trans.
