This has to be answered somewhere on this forum I'm sure, but I had no luck searching. I'm sure it's a skill issue.

I'm just looking to install LED grille accent lighting on my 2020 Lariat.

Can anyone tell me where I might Source a solid 12 volt supply for that? Preferably something that comes on when the daytime runners are on?

The LED grille kit I bought comes with ferals, or stak-on forks depending on the vernacular you prefer.

Thanks Everyone!

Could always tap the marker lights

Those probably dont pull mch current. You could probably just tie them in with your daytime running lights or marker lights.

FYI;
Sta-Kon is a brand name

That's some great info, much appreciated!

Where I'm from all of those same style connections get grouped into the same name, generally we just call them stak-ons, if more elaborate descriptions are required we may go further into it.

As an electrician I can definitely get behind splicing into the required wire, but as a terrible mechanic I'm worried about doing that. I've read that a plug-and-play harness is made for just such a purpose but I've had a great deal of difficulty actually locating the one that I need, I may just wait on it until I have more success rather than splicing into the pre-existing harness.

I'm not as familiar with the newest trucks, yet. A lot of newer vehicles have wiring in place and even extra switches and relays for adding accessories. These are often called "upfitter switches". Even if you don't have the switches, some of the wiring harness may be installed. But you'll need to get the Ford wiring diagrams to find it and figure out how to tap into it with your own wiring or aftermarket harnesses. Maybe someone else around here has the diagrams.

Thanks for the reply!

This is exactly what I was hoping for, I've seen first hand that automotive companies will preinstall required harnesses for just such an upgrade, I didn't have any luck spotting something that looked like an empty harness, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. Hopefully somebody on this forum has the know-how and can tell me if such a thing exists and where to find it.

I got the Raptor-style grille lights for Christmas 2023. My wife knows to get me truck parts.
They come with a Y connector to the left side marker light.
You can make a tweak in Forscan to turn the parking lights on with the DRL's just for that purpose.
Christmas 2024 she got me smoked side marker lights, the good Morimoto units and not the cheap $25 crap from Amazon.
