Hi I'm new to this site and it is my first post. I did soem research recently about adding larger tires to my 1997 Ford Ranger in hopes that my gas mileage might improve. Everywhere I looked i was told that 10.5 X 31 X 15 inch rubber would fit without hitting anywhere. The tires improved the gas mileage slightly but it also threw off my speedometer by 17 kmph.

I guess my information was wrong. I have two problems now. When I am turning the wheels to the full left or right they hit the front sway bar. As well they bottom out on the front inner fender wells. So I guess what I need to know is how do I fix the sway bar problem and how do I get the truck up high enough so it won't be bottoming out on the inner fender wells. Any help is appreciated thank you

Welcome to TRS...

Although you might get one or more decent replies, this is the introduction thread and there is a possibility that it will slide into the depths of old posts before someone finds it...best to post in a more appropriate thread...check the list and you should find something...

Ok please point me to the right thread and I will repost there thank you
