Swapping out FM for M50d

I have a 87 ranger with 4.0 from 92 Explorer. I shattered the Fm transmission.
Now it is time to replace it. I want to put in a M50D from a 91 explored. Could I be directed to a link for doing this swap. With drive shaft details.
Will my transfer case fit? If not how to set up the m50D correctly with options. bla bla bla

The T-case will work, the T-case shifter will not.

The rear driveshaft needs to be shorter the front shaft needs to be longer (these pieces from an '86-up Auto or '88-up manual trans truck will work.

The trans crossmember needs to be moved back to the REAR set of holes in the frame...

Frankly I'd shitcan the crossmember and mounting brackets for the explorer type crossmember (this will require drilling ONE 1/2" dia hole in the lower flange of the
drivers side frame rain)

Next some minor surgery to the floor will be required.

While it is true that there is a removeable floor plate that the
shift boots mount to, the '88-97 trucks use a longer hole and
a longer plate to cover it, so you'll need the plate from a later
truck to use as a template (the rear edge and sides are the
same it's the end towards the firewall that's different)

The mazda shifter is considerably further forward than your current shifter position.
