I have a 3.0L engine in my 06 ranger but am Ineterested in putting in a 4.0 so I have more power. would I have to remove one from a previous ranger or is there somewhere's that will sell the engine seperately. I am new to this haha.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

you will need everything, motor, trans, wire harness just find a complete donor vehicle and swap everything over, i noticed that you have 33" tires mentioned in your sig. if you do have 33s your gunna wanna regear to get your loss power back

If it's an 06, just trade it in on a truck with a 4.0L. You'll spend more money swapping than you will getting a different truck. Engine swaps are for vehicles at least 10 years old or more.
