I got tired of my 10.50 skinnies and went with 12.50. Kind of one extreme to the next, eh?!! I loved the 10.50 on my stock rims, they looked great and handled awsome! But I couldn't pass up this deal to get new 15x10 deep dish rims and 12.50 BFGs. Soon will be replacing the rubber with TSLs ot Thorbirds. The 12.50 seem to grip the road better, and obviosly give off more road noise. But I love that!

Let me know what you think !! You like the before or after?

eh im not into the fat tire look. it makes your tires seem smaller. i think an 8in. rim would be better. just a question, why is your rear end so high? is it for towing or something?

Looks about how a pickup truck should look (the rear doesn't look all that high to me).

Those are some OLD BFGs though, they're not even the KMs. Still good tires though (as long as the rubber isn't cracking).

I've never been a fan of pizza cutters... Looks good.

I think it looks 10 times better with the wider tires. I bet it preforms 10 times better too!!

If you are thinking about Thornbirds, don't do it! They are a poser street tire, kinda like the Toyo Open Country MT's, but the Toyos can actually preform decent.
My buddy had the Thornbirds on his fullsize Bronco for a short time, realized they sucked, then he traded them to my cousin for some parts, my cousin put them on his Dodge Ram, and shortly took them off.

looks great with 12.5s. good looking truck!

whats the offset on those rims?

Looking good man!

I'm not sure what the exact offset is on the rims. They do handle a lot better. I like the new look.
The rims need to be polished though. Anyone have any advice for making them look like new? I was planning on using Wenol Metal Cleaner/Polish. I really like how it works. However I used the last of it last week. If anyone has any suggestions for the best polish to use please let me know.

Here is the Wenol link. It's great suff!

My mud tires right now are 7.00 X 15 Hercules HDT's. I put them on some stock 86 ranger steelies that are 6" wide. The tires measure in at 29" tall and 5" wide at the tread. It does just fine in the mud. I'll have to get some pics :)

BTW: they are 8 ply bias tires!

I have been wanting to see your truck w/ 12.50s for a while now, hahaha. I think it looks way better. Most importantly, it prob. grips way better off road

Those are the KMs first of all, and second the wider ones will be worse off road. I like the skinny look, it fits the truck. But to each his own.
