hey guy's i was wondering how hard it would be to swap a manual tranny out of a 88 for ranger 4x4 to a 87 bronco2 with automatic everything?

I just did that swap in my 90 ranger, and I was able to do it in one weekend.

wuts involved ? as far as fabrication? or modification? just like drilling holes for the clutch and stuff?

You shouldn't have to drill anything, the only thing I had do modify was my front driveshaft. I had to shorten it about an 1 1/2".

In my opinion the hardest part of the whole swap was installing the clutch pedal assembly. Working under the dash can be a real pain.
