I'm selling my 89 and just bought a 2000 ford ranger. I'm wondering if it's possible to swap over my 89's sliding rear window into the 2000. Also, what is the best way to get a list of swapable parts. I've got a brand new set of Monroes on the old one and would like to swap them as well.

Rear shocks probably swap assuming both are either 2WD or 4WD (no swapping between 2 and 4WD).

Front shocks are different as '89 is twin I beam while '00 is ifs.

Cabs are different between 2nd and 4th generations, so window don't swap.

There is some swap between '93-97 and '98-'00, but not so much when you get older...

rear axle (the '89 is a bit narrower, but will bolt in), rear brakes (not including parking brake cable), tires/wheels, and depending on transmission/engine combo maybe some engine/transmission parts... that's about it. Oh, the beds will technically bolt on (assuming same length bed 6' or 7') but as the body lines are drastically different that's not feasible... This is to go with what is mentioned above, they're very different.
