is it possible to take a t-case from a 88 B2 and put it behind an 03explorer tranny (manual) or an 95 ranger (manual as well) thank you guys or girls... lol

Well I don't think Ford offered a manual transmission in the '03 Explorers.

The transfer case bolt pattern has been the same since the inception of the Bronco II, Ranger, and Explorer.

The T-case setup on the Gen3 IRS explorers is weird.

the T-case are actually integrated to a degree.

They DO NOT use the "RBV" bolt pattern, or atleast not on the V8 Explorers....

Swapping out the trans WILL be required to fit a "normal" T-case.

they did offer the manual trans in the 03 sport i know cuz that is what im looking into getting for an engine swap and other kinds of other things that will look sweet. but i wanted to keep my manual t-case cuz the ele t-case dont work to well on the trails. but an idea on the 95 ranger again manual like it would make to much of a difference.

oh forgot to add the exploder is a 4.0 dohc thats one of the reasons why i want it to replace the 93 4.0 pushrod engine.

Its not a DOHC, its a SOHC....

If the 03 explorer you are referring to is infact a "sport" model, a BW 1350 should fit as they used the M5OD-R1HD manual tranny, but possibly used a different transfer case (BW 4405). Im pretty sure both use the same bolt pattern...

Ford continued the rbv design on the Explorer Sport and Sport Trac models till '06 where they redesigned the sport trac based off of the 4 door IRS chassis.
