alright i have a 85 ranger and i took out an ngine and parts out of an 93 exploder what parts in the engine bay and fuel system should i keep out of the 85

The original fuel system? Chuck it all.

what should you keep in the engine compartment?
Wiper motor, brake booster and master cylinder....

?

...and I'm drawing a blank from there.

when I did my 1993 explorer engine swap into my 1987
I used very little of what was under the hood.

I even swapped in the later coolant bottle (it's bigger)
and relocated the charcoal cannister to the inner fender
with the bracket normally used to mount the ABS control unit.
(So the vacuum lines off the 93 would work)

And I mounted the two row "top load" power distribution "load center"
Fuse and relay box from the 1993 Explorer under the hood.
