Suspension,
Hi from PR.
What type of shocks and springs are used after the swap on a ranger whit a 302, because mine is allover the road and doesn’t fell stable at all I have factory shocks and springs. Any advice will be appreciated.

You can put springs in off a ttb explorer.I know some V8ers are using eb springs.

I'd start with an alignment check, don't know what would have changed. Problem sounds like something that shocks and springs may not help. A lot of people haven't had to change them up front.

Sorry, don't mean to crap on your thread, but figured it was relevant. I've got a 2000 Ranger 3.0L and a 99 Explorer 5.0L donor. I noticed that the torsion bar diameter is larger on the Explorer. Should I install the Explorer torsion bars on my Ranger or can I compensate for the extra weight by simply adjusting the bolts in the torsion bar keys?
