Suspension lift

I'm thinking about lifting my truck, '93 ford ranger 4x4. Thinking 3" suspension lift. Does anyone have any reccomendations on where to buy the kit? Also, I'm guessing I'll have to buy bigger tires right?

rough country has a great 4" lift for 440$ with rear blocks and 680$ with rear springs, clears 33"s great

oh.. or i just remembered rough country makes 2" body lift for 189$ or 3" for 200$ but in my opinion body lifts suck, they just screw things up, suspension lift is most deffinantly worth the extra money in the long run plus youll be replacing a lot of front end parts which youll have to do anyways in teh future...my 2 cents there

Is your truck a Super Cab or regular? I have a 6" lift on my Super, and my 33's clear by less than an inch.

Bodylifts don't "screw things up", they certainly have their place (such as to make room for a drivetrain swap, or to top off a 4" suspension lift with a couple extra inches without having to hassle with your steering geometry, or even just alone for a cheap 2-3").

Bigger tires aren't required, but if the ones you have now are on the small side, they might look a little weird afterward.
