94 F150 w 5.0 engine. Went to start it and no sounds or lights at all. Complete silence!! Battery and all connections are good. Guessing something electrical huh?

:)

Yes, electrical would be the place to start

Should be some main fuses in the engine bay fuse box, 50-60amp, and in 1994 it could have Fusible Links for some power distribution.

Could also be ignition switch under the steering column.
The ignition key turns a gear that pushes and pulls a rod inside the steering column.
That rod slides the ignition switch into its 4 positions: ACC, OFF, RUN, START
If rod comes off or ignition switch breaks then key doesn't do anything

All fuses look good. Tore into steering column. Cant make head or tails of what I am looking at. Most things are encased in metal alloy.

Ignition switch is under the steering column just above brake/gas pedal

My mechanic said it is most likely a solenoid either under the steering wheel or on the starter. :dunno:

Check the battery, should be over 12.6 volts. Next, leaving the key off, turn on the lights. They come on? Yes, good.
Leaving the lights on and the truck pointed at something so you can see what they do, turn the key over to start. Does the engine turn over? Yes, good. If no, do the lights go dark? If yes, not good, check battery connections. After cleaning and checking battery connections, AND starter connections, try starting again. If not turning over, you can try jumping the fender solenoid. Google or Youtube how to do it for your vehicle.

Ok, well new battery in and it worked great. Now the next day the new battery is is dead as the other one. Something must be draining it overnight. All lights R off, key was out of ignition. Any thoughts of what it could be?
