supercharger??

Hello, i have a 97' ranger 2.3 and i am looking for a way to increase the power/speed. I found a supercharger manufactured by supercharger. the model is turbonator stage 2. I am wanting to purchase this but read on this forum they can blow valves and crack heads? should i be concerned about this? Im not looking to beat the hell outta my truck just some added power, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with supercharges but some in the 4-Banger forum may be able to advise you better on this. Just post the question under the appropriate year and you should get enough advise to help you make an informed decision.
