New ford owner here but not new to mini trucks. Last project was a dakota cc lowered 4/6 and swapped in a 5.9 5spd. It looked cool but lost all functionality. I aim to modify my ranger from an older perspective and keep the thing usable.

I'm primarily a vw enthusiast and have three on the road right now...honestly if vw imported the amarok I wouldn't be getting into fords this late in life.

What started out as an awkward compromise is turning into a love affair. I'm still not overly keen on fords but I love my ranger.

I do have a vw bus with a 2.3 swap so I've been into the lima engine for awhile. I hope to be a valid addition to the community.

Any fan of Bosch "tronic" injection systems should be pretty happy to own a Ford Ranger, in my opinion.

73 bus water cooled 2.3 ford, offy intake 390 holley 4bbl....sadly this is my hot rod, wife and two kids dictate my projects be family centric.

Other vehicles are 04 passat wagon and 97 cabrio

3 dubs and a ranger. It's out of place in the drive but the others are slowly welcoming it.
