I've had my Ranger for a little over a year now and it has been a never ending battle to get the sunroof to stop leaking. I am getting tired of it and want it gone. Any ideas for the easiest way to fill that hole in the roof. I was thinking about going to the junkyard and cutting the roof off of another Ranger and graphing it on. How hard would this be? I know that I would have to take allot of measurements to make sure that I replaced the exact same amount as I get rid of.

Well I need parts for my sun roof..... plastic track on the driver side broke.......

Who is the manufacturer and what size is it?

If you take it out I many buy it from you.

If not.

You could always keep it in and silicone it shut.

There aren't any manufacturers marks on it. It's just a simple little lift up and lock handle sunroof. I've tried to silicone it shut already. It still leaks. If I manage to fill the hole in the roof, I'm gonna take the sunroof to a buddies house and use it for target practice.

A good auto body shop can remove the headliner cut out the sunroof and weld a new piece in place, repaint.
Or you can remove the headliner and just have them cut out the sunroof put in new piece, then you can repaint and reinstall headliner.

Sunroofs usually have a drain hose to prevent leaks inside, have you found this and made sure it's not plugged up?

Also have you covered the sunroof with plastic and taped it, just to be sure it is the sunroof and not the windshield that is leaking, if the leak is dripping on the seats then obviously its the sunroof, lol, but if its wet carpet then windshield could be the source.

It would be less work to just swap cabs than try to cut the roof off.
