sunroof in a 88 b2

i have got a sunroof from an 91 explorer to put into a 88 b2 i am worried about the rain troughs on top (ridges) can they be sealed??? has anyone done this/???

that same sunroof was used by the factory in 1986-88 Bronco2's (Mostly Eddie Bauer) there was a little moulder rubber piece that was glued into the troughs that the sunroof frame sealed against.

so yes the roof will go in and yes it can be sealed.

I'd be inclined to mould it in place.

BTW, did you get the clip in sunshield that attaches to the glass with the sunroof?
Trust me having to wear a baseball cap all the time to keep the sun out of your eyes gets pretty old kinda quick....

yes but no visor i figure ill go to the junk yard... what about the tube for draining how did you do this???
 
3/8" ID Vinyl hose running down inside both "A" pillars
and in the B-pillars as well.

Ithe original tubing was black but the clear stuff fhom home depot (or elsewhere) seems to work fine.

They exit through a 1/2" diameter hole punched in exsisting
floor seal gromets.
