summit racing discounts?

im ready to order about $600 worth of parts for the truck, so i was hoping to find a discount code or coupon or whatever. i know they dont send these out much anymore, but from the sounds of things they do send them on your invoice sometimes? if anybody's got any discounts, post em up! if they are the "one time use" kind of deal and you dont mind me using it, PM it to me if you would. thanks!

i dont think summit really runs discounts for anything anymore... oh well, i found a better site. StreetSideAuto.com has all the same stuff as summit or jegs at the same prices, but they have free shipping on orders over $50 and they run coupon codes too. my order went from $600 on summit down to $400 with the other place. not only did i save on shipping but i saved on taxes since summit is in ohio they were gonna charge me sales tax. on top of that they were running a $100 off $500 order and i ordered like $505 worth of stuff. i ordered stuff yesterday, it shipped today. they say it will be here on thursday so ill let ya know if i have any problems. i dont anticipate any though....

BTW the carb I want is $5 cheaper on there than Summit or Jegs. Headers are $10 cheaper.

One thing about Summit though, they have great service. I have returned a oil pan kit and a set of headers on seperate ocassions and it was no hassle at all to get my money back.

BUT! Do you still get a free yellow cap and decals with your Jegs order?

I would consider that a discount, cool when you open a package and get a free gift.

Never ordered anything from Jegs, I got cling stickers (I would put regular decals on my toolbox, but my windows are pretty much filled as much as I want them) from Summit and a bag of fliers with a catalog.

Both the headers and carb are free freight too.

I have enough hats, another freebie won't move me too much

got my stuff today. no freebies... but i dont think a hat or some stickers were worth the $200 difference. at this point im 100% satisfied with streetsideauto.com and i *will* be buying there from now on.
