:fie:Hard to tell which thread this should be posted in as the 2WD section seems to be for lowered trucks. :fie:

But, my questions is this!:

I am looking to get a new 08 2.3L Ranger XL Single Cab and want to lift it. What are my options for a lift? I'm hoping to run 32s.

I had a Ranger some years ago (96) that I lifted with a 3" body lift and was able to get 32s on with minimal rub. It was also a 2.3L.

What can you Ranger experts suggest? And, if possible, what kind of price range?

Really appreciate anyone's help!

in the tech library there is some under lifts, hope you find what your looking for

super lift has one its a 4 inch it clears 33" tires, it comes with every thing you need , new stearing knuckles, rear lift blocks and uses the factory torsion bars.. you also can check out www.racecardynamics.com and superlift.com good luck.

Thank you guys! I will look into the things mentioned. :)

I can't seem to find the 4 inch on the site.. Do you happen to have a direct link? I called 4wheelparts and they were unable to find any lifts for the 08 yet. :(

anything from 01+ should interchange just fine

Awesome Gator :D Thanks for the quick response!

Will these manufacturers confirm they will fit if 4wheelParts calls them? They said they just need a confirmation...

One more thing! I'm looking to buy some Wheel-lip Molding (fender flares) off a stock 06 Ranger. They should fit on 08 no prob?

Thanks guys.

Guys, he has an 08 2.3, so unless it as specially ordered, it's a 2WD. Therefore, the superlift kit will NOT work. It's a 4WD kit.

Look into Fabtech's 2WD lift kits. I've heard good things about them.

x3... thats what im running on my truck now however you will need aftermarket wheels with at least 3.75 inches of backspacing... i didnt realize you were 2wd

Fabtech was what 4WheelParts recommended as well (though they need a confirmation). I was planning on putting these wheels:

Does Fabtech offer higher than a 3" lift? Also, you guys know anything about pricing on these?

Thanks! :bye:

those are similar to the ones i have http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT63531.aspx and i am very happy with them other than they are pretty heavy... fabtech does have a 5.5 kit for coil spring 2wd rangers but i dont know too much about it since my truck has torsion bars but i believe it includes taller springs with the spindles

Thanks for the info. Snooping around, looks like that 5.5" kit is f-ing expensive!

Ya'll know what kind of body lifts are available? I wouldn't mind doing maybe the 3" fabtech spindles then a 2" body lift.
