I have two tens bridged on a 1500w i believe. it has been working fine for the past year. I always used to get a pop when i turned on my stereo cause my power is connected to the starter solinoid. But lately at for example a stop sign, if i dont rev it high enough (5speed) my subs kick out and make a really low bass sound constantly like pow pow pow. sometimes they just stop poping and work fine, until i under rev it at a stop sign again. Also if im listening to a cd and i press next to change the song it will pop. But if i just let the cd go from track 1 -10 without touchin it, the thing will play....unless i under rev er. Could this bee my battery not holding the charge? maybe its shot? Should i try a capasitor? Im pretty sure my alternator is fine or the truck would be not driveable anymore. help please :headbang:

try cleaning the connection and going right to the battery instead of the solinoid. a capcitor will only be a bandaid right now. the real problem needs to be fixed. then a capcitor can be added.

also, where do you have your remote (amplifier turn on) wire connected?

also where is the amp grounded and how long is the ground wire?

Go directly to battery for power and make sure that the amp ground is tight. A good rule is to scrape the paint where you will be attaching the ground. Also, CLEAN the battery terminals. BOTH of them. Alot of times corrosion will limit the amount of power the battery can put out and it also affects charging of the battery. Another good rule is to clean your battery terminals at least once a year. Don't wait until you have a califlower growing on your terminals.

the ground is too the pillar in the back. and i dont have a remote wire. since its on the starter solinoid, it only gets power when i turn the starter. and stops when i turn the truck off.

now my whole stereo is making a loud high pitched squeek all the time through all speakers. u can hear a tiny bit of music in the background but its super fuzzy. i donno what to do now?

your supposed to have a remote turn on wire connected to the amp. it turns the amp on when you turn the stereo on.

as for the fuzzy sound. is your amp screwed to the floor? if it is. then the amp it grounding out. had this same problem on my truck. unscrew the amp, and see if it sounds different.

if not. the rca output on the stereo is crap.

my amp is screwed to my sub box. i didnt use rca's i taped rite into my speaker wires off the deck.

I checked all connections and they are good. I took out the fuse so no power was going to the amp, and i still get a sharp buzz, but some sound comming threw. Could this be my deck??

id run rcas threw your head unit and actually hook a remote wire on your amp. this way if you do mess something up it wont affect your warranty on your amp if you have one, plus it makes it looke more profesional

so i just run that one wire to the back of my amp am i rite? there should be its own spot?

yea theres a wire on the back of your headunit...or should be, i think it will be a blue one and might have a tag on it that says rem. theres a place on your amp for it, should be in between your ground and your battery terminals on the amp.

holy **** me with a chain saw slowly

first run your power from your battery

the noise is prolly connecting issues along with a lil EMI
not to dog you but start over and re wire everything. hopefully you didnt break anything in your charging system
