how the heck do you open the clips that hole the spark plug wires together? im trying to put my new wires on but i cant get the damn things open and i dont want to break anything

They should just pop on. But if not, IE one got a little crushed, then reach in w/ needle nose pliers .

They usually slide sideways to unlock if you're talking bout the clips that hold the wires so they're not just hangin.

yea i ended up getting them off, but it wasnt easy. they've been on there for 13 years. good news is it doesnt appear to be misfiring anymore *knock on wood*
I use a small flat-head screwdriver...save thing for the ABS clips and multiple other clips found on these trucks.
