I might be over thinking this but I have searched pictures and numerous threads all over Google and I have 1 simple stupid question.

do I need radius arm drop brackets with extended radius arms?

I have stock arms now and I have the drop bracket with them...I know it's probably a stupid question but I'm stumped on research. It's as 94 ranger TIB front end 2wd

do you think they are made for looks?????? dumb looks????? try looking at a few different lifted rangers a common thread here

As hisrudeness ^^^ suggested, if you have a lift, it would be best to use the drop brackets. If you don't, you'll change the caster a few degrees and you may run into problems with keeping the truck in a straight line; as in constantly correcting the steering wheel.

I thought so...somewhere I was reading it was saying you don't need the drop brackets on the radius arm because by lengthening it' took away the need for drop brackets. Idk maybe I was confused.

And yourrudeness I have looked at every single pic on Google and zoomed in to about 90% of them. Most threads are about the arms not the brackets since most buy a kit or build their own. Before I throw money down the tube I'd prefer to ask people who know what to do rather than guess. I'm learning about suspension thanks alwaysfloored for the insight.

I'm no expert, and like you am learning as I go. It may very well be possible to not use the drop brackets and get most if not all the caster back with an alignment. It makes sense that you would get a degree or two from lentghening the arms. But I can't say from personal experience and haven't read about anyone else that has tried.

Usually extended arms are built so drop brackets are not used.

How about these bad boys maybe a pic will help these are mine

Did you get mounts with them?

No I didn't get mounts with them...the guy I got them from said he didn't know what they were

Any further opinions on this subject...I'm still at square one on use them and don't need them haha

Beat bet would be to make a call to the mfg and make sure that they are for your application . And if so order a set of brackets to go with the arms.
